Fighting the AIDS epidemic (story)

We’re off to a good start today. Talk about a problem of world proportions highly under-reported these days. For some reason I always link the AIDS with the eighties … and for some reason pretty much all of the following was eradicated … except AIDS

When Bush breaks party ranks … some Republicans vowed to block it because of its cost … I’m confused. I’m guessing as a rule it’s positive if there are only two ways to go, but I’m not sure.

 

Bush heckled at July 4 ceremony (story)

“Shouts from protesters were heard during Bush’s remarks, and the president responded by saying he agrees that “we believe in free speech in the United States of America.”" … ok now this is painful, I’d imagine. Here you are ready for a nice photo-op with the newcomers, who I assume that after eight years of Bush are quite aware what they’re pledging for, and you get heckled. Now that’s one way to get introduced.
